Jaycee and I have been readers even before we met.
We went to Big Bad Wolf Alabang yesterday for our us-time, and we took home these books (our kids books not in the photo – mostly train and storybooks for Joshua, amazing facts, minecraft, dino books for Johan).
Choice of books definitely evolving, says a lot about our life stage now π
Dear hubby, you are now fast asleep (and Johan) and I am awake with the other bibi Joshua who wont sleep π
But I just took a moment to look at you and to say that I appreciate you and all that you are to me. I can’t imagine figuring out and doing life/kids/getting old with someone else but you.
Lord, I want an abundant marriage. But help me to delight myself in You first and foremost, and trust you for the desires of my heart. Help me to never look to my spouse for happiness, and instead look to you as the only One who can give true fulfillment. I put you at the center of my life and marriage, and ask you to help my spouse do the same. Amen.
Lord, help me see and seize those little opportunities to hang out with my spouse. To be his or her best friend. Help me to see that you want me to be the person who lifts my spouse up, who comes alongside, who walks the road together. Help me be the best friend
Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! Again, if two lie together, they keep warm, but how can one keep warm alone? And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand himβa threefold cord is not quickly broken.
Ecclesiastes 4:9β-β¬12 ESV
I miss you, hubby! And I know bebe also misses you very very much. Tatay daw (ulit ulit), sinabi during bedtime.
My devo today says to me that God protects you there 24×7 and beyond. Praising Him for the good (best!) opportunities set apart for you because He loves you very much. β€οΈ
God bless the work of your hands in Tokyo. God bless your plans and may God rule your thoughts, words, and actions.
Sacinco. This is one of the most memorable places to me and hubby in Smart. It was our default breakfast and “tagpuan” place when we were just singles. We’ll meet there for breakfast everyday and I remember I looked forward to those times. I love the brewed coffee and my hubby loves the complete combo (rice, egg, and ulam). Nice to be back. π
