Day 2 (Jaycee)

Yesterday, I was reminded by my wife to post what’s happening on my journey to fitness and healthy well being.

Today, I started around 9am to initially drink the aloe concentrate and then tea. I’m not feeling hungry and yet I feel good and light.

Fitness Goals

Day 1 (Jucyn)

Hubby and I decided to get fit and healthier, yey! We have to make this intentional as we need to develop a healthier lifestyle especially that we are still in the midst of a pandemic.

I am good with the aloe, tea and shake as breakfast replacement. And so far, feeling ok 🙂

Creating Spiritual Community at Work

Father, open my eyes and my heart to see needs and pray for my coworkers. Help me to practice the discipline of prayer consistently. As I pray, Father, change me, change others, and change my workplace. Amen.

Pray that coworkers will come to know and follow Jesus.
Pray that those who do follow Jesus (you + others) will boldly lead change in the workplace.
Pray for the coworkers you like and the ones that aren’t so easy to love.
Prayer for your workplace.
Pray for yourself.
Pray that God will ignite a fire in you to go that extra mile, to care more, and to work more diligently.
Prayer changes EVERYTHING.

I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus,

Eternal Perspective

Lord, help me to fix my eyes on eternal life with you. So that I will be reminded that everything that happens now are but fleeting circumstances and that what you have promised to us in eternity is good and perfect.

Thank you for reminding me that YOU are Sovereign above ALL things and that your goodness prevails until ETERNITY.

Covid-19

New Normal Grocery

Posting here about this to remember our new normal in going to the groceries. This is one of the few times that I went to grocery with Hubby, as I find it exhausting with all our “ritual-after-going-out” now given the Covid-19 situation.

I really miss the carefree days. These are just some of the steps we do in somehow minimizing the risk:

  1. Mask, faceshield, OA alcohol, and social distancing when outside. DON’T roll down the windows when at the gasoline station.
  2. Specific mall bag for use outside, with only minimum stuff.
  3. Specific area only near the door for shoes used outside.
  4. Ligo RIGHT AWAY as soon as entering the condo. Diretso sa CR, walang hahawakan na anything.
  5. Clothes are soaked in soap and water right away.
  6. Bag used is left in the designated are and CANNOT BE TOUCHED.
  7. Groceries are left for few days in the car, or those brought up need to be washed in soapy water. Hay grabe, every chichiria! So I asked hubby to buy in bulk so it has sealed plastic.

Prayer for our government

Proverbs 14:34
Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.

  • Lord, we decree Your righteousness upon the Philippines and it’s government. We ask for wisdom for our leaders to govern with integrity and the fear of You. Let Your Holy Spirit sweep across our government to carry out Your perfect will and plans for our people.

Isaiah 58:2
Yet they seek Me daily, and delight to know My ways, as a nation that did righteousness and did not forsake the ordinances of their God; they ask of Me the ordinances of justice , they take delight in approaching God.

  • Father, we do not exist in a vacuum. Grant wisdom and grace to our leaders in our relationship with other nations. Help our leaders decide according to Your will and in keeping with biblical principles. Be a wall of fire around the Filipino leaders and people.
