Our January 2025 Adventure

Fun Times We Had Together

New Year Fun in Palawan

Guess what? We kicked off January with a super fun New Year celebration in Palawan! Imagine us playing on beautiful beaches with soft sand and splashing in waves of Tala Beach Resort. We saw colorful fish and crabs swimming around when tides rise and had a blast making new year’s wishes under the starry sky. It was like a magical start to 2025!

Reunions in Manila

Then, we headed back to Manila and got to meet again some friends and classmates of Nanay and Daddy used to work with. It was like a big reunion party where everyone shared funny stories and lots of laughs. We remembered old times and made new memories. It was so nice to catch up!

Camping at School

One of the coolest things we did was go camping at your school! We set up tents right in the school yard and had so much fun playing games, telling stories, and eating hotdogs and nuggets! You learned about life outside the comfort of our home and teamwork, and we all enjoyed our bonding together under the stars. It was an awesome adventure!

Celebration of Santo Niño Festival

And oh, how could I forget the Santo Niño Festival? You danced with all your friends in your bright and colorful costumes. The music was lively, and everyone was so happy. We were so proud to see you dancing and having a great time. It was such a joyful celebration!

Celebration of Grandpa Ton’s Birthday

We also visit Grandpa Ton and Grandma Fely in Bulacan to celebrate Grandpa Ton’s 74th birthday. They were happy and really enjoy the bonding together, laughing and telling stories.

Health Break at School

At the end of the month, your school decided to take a health break for a whole week. It was like a mini vacation! You got to stay home, relax, and we spent a lot of time together as a family, playing games and going to mall. It was a nice break to make sure everyone stays healthy and happy.

Our Family Vacation in Osaka Nov 2023 – Day 1

Flight to Osaka

  • Woke up around 2:30 am to prepare any last-minute stuffs. I’ve already loaded the luggage and stroller in the car.
  • Dropped them at the entrance of Departure Level from parking as I will look for the parking space. I worry that I can’t find a parking space in time. Thank God I found a couple who are about to leave their slot and wait for them to leave to take it.
It took me around 5-10 minutes to find that parking slot.
  • Paid the Travel Tax, P1620 for adult while reduced amount for my 2 kids. While waiting for me, wifey and Ate Len look for Jetstar check-in counter.
  • Everything went smooth after check-in at Jetstar.
  • We immediately queue to immigration. Kids are in the stroller until we reach the security check only to find out that we need to fill up the form in the etravel website. Grabe ang daming kailangan ifill-up. Dapat nagawa nanamin yun sa bahay palang kasi kailangan din gawan ng QR Code entry for the kids.
  • After showing the QR code, the queue to immigration is terrible. Walang maayos na pila sa Priority Lane (PWD, Senior Citizen, Pregnant, and Travelling with small children). It took us 45 minutes to reach the counter, and the kids are already bored. It is already boarding time when with pass the last security check going to boarding gates. We ran to the boarding gate. They were ahead of me looking for the Gate 111 while I found out that the Gate 111 is near, but our boarding gate was move to Gate 106 which is at the last gate of the T3 Left Wing
  • We got time to fix ourselves after knowing that boarding time was delayed.

  • Based on Flight Radar, our actual departure time was around 7:57am and arrived in Kansai T1 around 12:09 pm.

Arrival at Kansai International Airport

Johan is amaze about the toilet having a map. There is braille all over the map for the blind person to know where to go inside the toilet/comfort room.

After some bladder break, we rode to the shuttle train to bring us to the main building for immigration and custom checks.

Arrival area after shuttle

We arrived at the main airport building. See how the airport is very clean and organize.

Outside the airport, Johan and Daddy Jaycee went to a bus map to know how cold it is and how to get to our hotel.

We already booked an airport transfer service thru Klook for the convenience and avoid the challenge of navigating the train and transfer with our young kids around.

Arrival to ESLead Hotel

We arrived safely in our hotel.
Check-in went smooth using only this kiosk.

Family Vision

Last month, hubby and I joined a Family Visioning session (organized in the office – Acn). It’s really what the both of us wants to do 🙂

Today, we did the first step which is to brainstorm as a couple. Siningit namin at 4pm in between work. It was a productive hour as we documented what we each envision for our family, and combined it at the end of the session. I’m excited to do the next step which is the Dreamstorming. For this one, we will be doing it with Johan 🙂

Art Time with Nanay

It is Maundy Thursday, and we manage to enjoy our day staying in our home while others are going out for a long vacation this holy week.

Wifey decided to have art time with Johan and Joshua. The kids are excited to let their creativity burst on the paper with watercolor.

March 2023 Highlights

Started this month with the celebration of Grandpa Jun’s 69th birthday here in our place.

Johan had finally got his 2nd shot of Covid (Friday, March 10) to complete the initial set of vaccination which is requirement for his admission to the big school. Wifey and I had also our 2nd booster shot. We had it administer at the Makati LGU located in the IT Zone (3rd level) of Ayala Mall Circuit Makati. We found it more relax because it was not crowded.

Grandma Ting and Grandpa Jun pamili day (Sunday, March 5) at Ayala Mall Manila Bay before they return to Puerto Princesa (Tuesday, March 14). They enjoyed playing with their grandchildren.

Wifey and I had a quick and needed date (Couple Time) at Genki Sushi (Saturday, March 12). We enjoyed the sushi delivered on a unique way. We plan to return here with the kids.

We celebrate with Jomer’s Family the baptism of his son Kali at Alley BGC (Friday, March 17). Wifey had her first 5 hour driving lesson around Paranaque, Muntinlupa and Las Pinas.

We enjoyed the Prep Camp Family Fun day (Saturday, March 18) where we participated on the games, won a Rustan’s gift certificate worth P500. We also watch Johan’s dance and play with his classmates. Wifey and I enjoy the iced Vietnamese Coffee at But First Coffee due to hot weather outside.

Family Fun Day

Nanay and Johan at Prep Camp

I was able to complete my Executive Check Up at Maxicare Primary Care Center at Alabang. It was my first time to go there (Friday, March 24).

Wifey completed her remaining 4 hour pratice driving around Las Pinas and Paranaque (Saturday, March 25)

Wifey was able to drive to and from PrepCamp where we drop off Johan (Monday, March 27). She is getting better but I still have to manage my panic. 🤐

Johan had his fourth quarter exam and shows his excitement to go to school by being first to arrive in the classroom (March 27-30). He also celebrated with his classmate the birthday party of Alonzo at the last day of their exam.

Wifey got her external and portable screen for her work (Friday, March 31) which Johan and I pick her up from her office at Cybergate Tower 1.

More of you @5 and @1

Dear bibis, taking notes for more more kwento when you are older ❤️💓😘

Morning routine: Joshua unli dede until magising Kuya Johan. Magkukulitan sa bed. Hug and kiss ni kuya, guatong gusto nyo magkadikitan tayo.

Laging nagpapatugtog tapos sasayaw kayo. O kaya running man si Kuya Johan.

Joshua

May bakod kayo nila Nanay habang naka latch ikaw.
