“The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eyes are unhealthy, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!
Seeing 20/20 in 2020
1. Be affirmed by your relationship with God. — child of God, loved by God, saved by God’s grace, I have nothing to prove to Him, I am never alone and will not be forsaken
2. Be led by the Holy Spirit — Jesus fasted — we are being tempted by the devil, not the Holy Spirit
3. Know the Word to know the world. — know what is real/truth to know the fake/false
Jesus answered to devil the following, and He was able to answer because He knows the Word:
Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’ ”
Jesus answered him, “It is also written: ‘Do not put the Lord your God to the test.’ ”
Jesus said to him, “Away from me, Satan! For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.’ ”
