Joshua

Joshua’s birth story

June 12, we went to St Luke’s for the 9am appointment with nanay’s Obgyne. Cervix is still closed while Joshua is already low. Nanay was advised to take Primrose supplement to help cervix to dilate. She was also advised for if there’s any regular 10 minute interval, inform her doctor immediately. We had our breakfast at Mary Grace. We also had another swab test as the result for wifey is only valid until today. We decided to stop by at Waltermart before going home to buy the medicine and groceries for the week.

After lunch we decided to take supplement and nanay took a quick nap from early morning trip. She felt pain in her belly with the feeling of having a diarrhea.

Around 4pm, she had a bloody show. We think it was the mucous plug.

By 5pm, we informed our doctor about her contractions. She used a monitoring app to measure duration and interval.

We had our dinner but still contractions are happening. By 7pm, we decided to go to St. Luke’s.

Night going to SLMC

Daddy drove as smooth as possible specially on bumps and humps on the road.

Daddy was left at the lobby of the Ob-Gyne Complex (3rd Floor) waiting for the RT-PCR Test Result to be released before going with Nanay inside the labor room. Waiting game starts while nanay is enduring the pain alone.
